It never stops

It takes the heart of a lion to stay in life’s game. At least that’s what my experiences and observations point to when I reflect but also look through the lens of others. In between surmounting the courage it takes to roar like lions, figuring out the pieces of the next life puzzle, we also have to find a way to stay present and fulfilled and fend off the occasional but never ending imposter syndrome.

While I don’t have any of these things fully figured out, I am learning and growing to realise that “starting with the why” appears to be all that matters. In the period of joy and downsides, trying to remember why it all started and the unique value we all bring to this world. Then one might ask what’s the value we bring to this world? Never easy to unravel purpose and I do believe while our destiny/purpose is somewhat predestined, our job is to unravel them. And this takes a deep sense of continuous reflection and consistency. How do I make people feel? What did I do as a kid and excelled at? What do I do when I make people feel good or receive positive feedback? The essence of the answers to these questions however refined and presented down the line I believe is the true sense of our unique purpose. Industry, career, trade and environment irrespective. And when we find these pointers, it’s all about owning and grooming them but also reminding ourselves the good we bring to this world. Especially when the next steps in life are blurry or actually going well but doubting ourselves to deliver.

As always, life is an unending quest of many self improvements sprints. I am fast realising that this never stops but that being said, it all begins and grows with acknowledging the good we bring to this world. And believing in ourselves to always do better. As far as I can see for now, that’s the insulation for the many curve balls and challenges that life presents. The hope and aspiration is to be able to acknowledge every bit of those small wins, build and reinforce on them to calm the doubts and storms when they come. And while at it, acknowledging the game we are in and naturally finding ways to revel and enjoy the journey. After all it’s all just one lifetime!

Pardon the “alarming” and dramatic header. Sort of captures what a Q1 it has been 😉 but onward and full steam ahead always with the wildest optimism
