Leap of faith

There are no finished articles, only willing vessels willing to be propelled through the journey of growth and fulfilment.

The reality is that not everyone will make the proactive connection or readily conceive the potential of what they could become. For some and the best of us, it might require a nudge to unravel the potential that abounds.

As a maximiser at heart , I have always found it important to take a leap of faith and give the benefit of doubt along with the support required to nurture or nudge in the growth mindset direction. As long as the intent and drive for growth and self improvement is evident. As leaders in our respective life’s journey, I firmly believe we owe this to everyone that comes our way.

Leaning into my own personal experience, close to a decade ago, a certain Brit (Richard) took a leap of faith. And began the journey that has generated hopefully many more positive chain reactions. Along the way, I have had the privilege of leaders and close-circle friends who have sensed the yearning for more and committed to taking a chance. Hopefully a decision they look back at and will repeat time and time again.

Societal/historical bias, bad experiences, burnt fingers and the tendency to always clone or associate with only like minded personalities aside, are we still taking the leap of faith on the people we meet? More so as we grow and unlock new platforms, who are we taking along with us? Who are we making better than they were in alignment with their drive and yearn for more?

These for me are the critical life leadership and growth critical questions. We are not truly growing or leading, if we can’t take people along and elevate their journey just as others have taken a bet on us.

Take the leap.
