There will be ups and downs along our journey down here
Ever so often, the comforting alternative will be to give up, stay in distraught land waiting to unravel
That being said, there is another window of alternative, usually more subtly placed in our minds
After all, it’s is the hard road to take considering the pain and discomfort in front of us
But here is the thing,
The subtly placed voice and the reflective journey of going back to the basics holds longer lasting and sustainable returns
Practicing gratitude for the small wins even though the moment we find ourselves is less than desirable
Staying resolute and gravitating towards the lesson for the season
And lastly threading with the wildest optimism that we are still capable of doing great things
Today hasn’t gone well, but tomorrow holds the promise of fulfilment, accomplishment and joy
And yes, cyclical as it gets, acknowledging that the road will get bumpy from time to time and that’s just the way life goes by design
But we are made to evolve and over time some of the pains of yester years will be long forgotten
And there will always be a tomorrow as long as we stay Resolute.
